Isadiel, Demon of the South Horn

Description

The legend of Isadiel lasted through many generations, which told tales of a terrifying aerial sea monster that left nothing but frozen ruins in its wake. The radiant sky would darken upon her appearance, overtaken by a raging snowstorm as the leviathan roared across the horizon. Ports and cities would disappear overnight, sometimes an entire kingdom demolished. Some tried to fight back, but very few have returned to tell the story.

Isadiel was also a cunning predator when it came to hunting. She took advantage of the snowstorm's low visibility to draw the prey away from land and into the sea, where she spared no mercy against whoever dared to trespass her domain.

Shelly knew he was in trouble. The valley he thought he was flying over was no longer there, replaced by the screaming waves of the ocean as the demon's gloaming shadow roamed across the clouds. The warmth of spring faded away as the Isadiel's winter storm began to cause the temperature to slowly drop to dangerous levels. He was effectively cornered in Isadiel's trap, forced to fight against the leviathan above or fall and sink into the ocean below.

With nowhere else to run, Shelly braced for a difficult struggle. He took little comfort in the fact that he'd rather choose the leviathan over living the remainder of his life as a lab rat.

Hah, wow. This was supposed to be a little sketch break but looks like I went overboard with the background. I really wanted to incorporate the wings (I reckon some would be able to tell where I got the inspiration from) I made a little less than a year ago. Then there's the story. Well, at least I can say that I had fun playing with the effects.

But will the wings shortcircuit?
